Moving Forward
This will be a relatively short blog today – I spent most of my morning working on the Christmas vacation pics. I have now typed in titles, captions, and explanations – so it should make a little bit more sense. Next step on the pics will be the house – please be patient as I haven’t organized much on them and don’t have any compressed pics yet (the 1st step before trying to upload).
Yesterday, Thasya went to Bali with her 7th grade class. It is intended to be a combination “cultural learning experience” and fun trip. I have to laugh when I think about Thasya going to Bali (an island in Indonesia, next to Lombok) to learn about Indonesian culture … however, I concede that it will be a different perspective on her own culture and she will likely learn some new things.
One of our friends from Angola is in the process of relocating to Indonesia. It is Bala and Uma Rajoo. They are Malaysians of Indian descent. It was good to see him here yesterday (he just arrived). His wife Uma will come arrive in about 2 weeks.
** For those of you not familiar with Wordpress (like me) navigation is a bit of a challenge. From the blog section, it is intuitive how to get to the gallery. From the gallery section, it is not intuitive … select Wordpress ….
Ok – gotta run … there’s a couple of things I need to do in the next 15 minutes before leaving for work.
