Really not too much to report.

About work, spent most of the day helping 4 groups improve their submissions for the emergency plan. Its a struggle … but step by step. Enough on that today.

Decy continues to move forward on preparations for the open house on Saturday. As I understand it, we could have 40-50 guests. She is not having the event catered – she and the maids will be doing the cooking herself. I also understand that a few folks will bring a specialty dish or two.

One of Decy’s childhood friends (named Desy) is visiting us. She arrived yesterday. Desy lives in Ungung Pandang (aka Makassar). I’ve blogged about Makassar before (we visited there in Nov-06). Desy’s a very good friend and that friendship has lasted a lifetime, even though many times they have been 10,000 miles apart. Not sure how long Desy will stay with us … but she is always welcome here.
