Thursday – 28 June – 430am …. the “approval copy” of the emergency plan goes to press in less than 6 hours … unless something very unforeseen happens when I arrive at work. Assuming nothing bad happens today …. then one more reading … a meeting on Friday @ 1pm with the Lead Country Manager … obtain his signature … handover to the Admin for printing – Go home … start packing …. I can feel it … I can feel the energy coming back … I can feel my body fighting my cold … step by step.

Received a call from Angola yesterday. Seems somebody has really screwed up my computer models there – now the company is in a pickle and needs my advice / help. I’ll do what I can on the phone … but if the model is really screwed up … it could take days or weeks to fix it … it might be better to go back to the last version I did for them in August 2006 – and make it current.

This is short – sorry. I need to prepare a detailed agenda for our travel – some folks are asking for it. I’ll send a copy to family members when it is ready.
