Old Man Morgan

Hard to believe that today is already Friday. However, I guess the week goes by quickly when you only work 2 days (he he he). Yesterday went nothing at all as planned. First, we have a bunch of VIPs in town for key planning meetings. My manager was ill – so I filled in for him. Thus, my work completely changed. Then, I needed to attend the dinner with the VIPs – thus, a change in plans for the concert with Simple Plan. About mid-morning I knew plans were changing quickly, so I set some contingency plans in place – Samantha would take my place at the concert.

As for the concert with Simple Plan, not sure what happened and if Jeff (band player) didn’t follow thru on putting us on the special guest list or if someone else failed to add us. Bottomline, we were not on the list. Decy in her strong willed way was able to bully their way into the concert. Sounds like the place was packed – and they were not able to get back stage, although they tried.

Neverthless, Decy didn’t give up. She knew which hotel the band was staying at and surmised where in the hotel (its a huge hotel with multiple entrances). Decy did her paparazzi work – and found Jeff and a few of the other band members. Thasya was able to take some personal pic’s with the band. I didn’t really get to visit with Decy and Thasya last night … I will tonight and see how things went. Hopefully, overall, it was a good experience for them.

Its hard to believe that this weekend I need to pack for my trip to the US – which begins on Tuesday.
