Moving Forward
Yikes it is already Wednesday … tomorrow is Decy’s birthday. Friday I am talking the day off. Saturday we expect to have about 10-15 people over for dinner. Sunday I have to work at the disaster recovery site. Monday I go to Aceh. Tuesday I come back. Friday I leave for the US. There simply aren’t enough hours in the day … days in the week to get everything done.
On top of the work, I am still dealing with issues with the Lyme disease. I have noticed a swelling in my joints and particularly my ankles. Yesterday wasn’t as bad as some days, but when I got home last night it looked like I had golf balls attached to the outsides of my ankles. Decy made a hot bath for me … and I soaked for a while. Swelling is down a bit this morning … but I have noticed that I am also retaining water … which is adding weight.
I am VERY UNHAPPY about the weight gain. I already came back from the US heavier than I wanted to be … and the weight was coming off nicely. Then suddenly, there was a surge in water retention …. and I am higher than when I came home. ARGH !!!!

On a different note, at Jakarta International School, each year the students take a required school trip – usually somewhere in Indonesia. However, for 9th graders it is an international trip. Thasya has applied for and been accepted for the Beijing China trip. She is SOOOOO excited. She goes in October.
Gotta run … Windows wants to reboot my PC ….
ciao ciao
