Finally GW’s Specialist arrived from Bali.  Did a visual inspection, reviewed the charts, etc.  Said he wanted to postpone any surgery … apparently he was having doubts on the prognosis.  Said he wanted new x-rays tomorrow and then would evaluate the situation.  In the meantime, the staff continue “irrigating” GW to help him go to [...]

Talk about a sucky day …. very long day of work.  Then traffic was absolutely horrible.  It took me 90 minutes to go 1.25 miles (as the crow flies).  Thankfully traffic finally cleared up and I was able to go the last 4.75 miles in about 30 minutes.  I HATE long commutes like that.   It [...]

Decy was at the hospital today.  Said George W. was looking much better but still had an IV in his arm and a feeding tube in his throat.  According to the doctors it appeared that his bowls were clearing out bit by bit and they were going to take x-rays tomorrow.  Then, late tonight, [...]

Per Decy, George’s intestine is blocked right now and he is dehydrated because of the difficulty in eating.  The Drs are giving him medicine to hopefully loosen things up – apparently what they gave him yesterday was done rectally, so it wasn’t sufficient to clear things up.  He is also on an IV for fluids [...]
