Hard to Believe it is Monday

After 10 days of approx 18 hour days it probably comes as no surprise that I was DRAGGING going into the weekend. We closed out the weekend by joining Terry / Samantha, Bart / Andrea, and Steve Erbstoesser at the Darmawanza (sp ?) hotel for cocktails and dinner on Friday. It was a very good evening but often times difficult to stay alert. We arrived home around 11pm and Decy and I fell asleep around 1230am. After nearly 2 weeks on 4 hrs/night sleep, I finally captured 8 hours sleep and crawled out of bed somewhere around 830-9am.

Decy went to the salon Saturday morning and I jumped on the treadmill. Although still tired, I had an excellent run and did 16.2 kms and burned 955 calories during a 105 minute run. It should have been 100 minutes but I was unhappy with the programing of my treadmill so I restarted it after 5 minutes.

The rest of Saturday I spent doing misc in the house and on finances, and then enjoyed some R&R with two friends (Jeff McDonald and Ken Dickson) from 5-8pm. Decy made it home around 830pm … we ate dinner … and then went to bed at 1030pm.

Sunday was a mixed day. Decy went to church with Thasya while Chely and Decy’s friend Desy (who is visiting us) stayed home and relaxed/exercised. I slept in as I had a very rough night of hot flashes. After church Decy and Thasya went to the salon, Desy went shopping, Chely watched movies, and I worked. I shut down work around 4pm and Chely and I watched movies together. Decy came home around 8pm (she wanted to come home early but could not due to a busy day at the salon) …. we ate dinner …. and watched a bit of the remainder of a movie.

My back has been hurting so Decy, Desy, and Wiwik gave me a triple massage on my arms, shoulders, hands, back, legs, and feet. Wow !!! Never had three girls massaging me at once. I suppose I shouldn’t get use to it either.

Sorry this is short, but I am running late. Couldn’t drag myself out of bed at 3am …. and slept in until 4am. Now it is almost time to go.

Ciao Ciao. GBU.
