Happy Holiday ! ? !
Wow, hard to believe it is a 3-day weekend here in Jakarta. The weekend started off with the challenge from the bombings on Friday morning – which put a lot of folks on wedge … naturally. Then, from a work perspective it was pretty much the same. On Saturday I was up at normal time (~3am) and in the office by 6am. I worked until 730pm. Before going to bed, I asked Decy to fix me a “nightcap” because as I said “it is Friday night”. Then the girls promptly reminded me it was Saturday night. Ho hum …..
BUT, on Sunday I did take a bit of a break. First, I slept in until 9am …. got a 2 hour massage from 10-12pm then had lunch with Chely (Decy and Thasya went to church and then the salon). After eating lunch I began working and stopped around 6pm. Decy was not feeling well and came home early. So we all sat down, had dinner in the living room and watched two “mummy” movies on HBO.
And, here it is today – Monday, a holiday, and I will be leaving for work shortly … as it is already 5am. One good thing about today’s work is that I am very causual (shorts, t-shirt, tennis shoes). I’m not sure how long I will work today – it will depend on Decy’s plans.
**** and so folks, all you get today is a blog full of chatting about work. Why? Because that is all that is going on right now …. sorry.
