Big Day
First and foremost, a few hours ago my step-father, Frank, had surgery on his shoulder. I understand that surgery went well. Please keep Frank in your thoughts and prayers. Additionally, my mom, is having some health challenges as most of you know. Please keep her in your prayers too.
Being as we are on the subject of praying – don’t forget me …. I am running on empty right now and must find a way to get through today and tomorrow. Had three nights in a row of 2, 4, and 2.5 hrs sleep respectively. Today is a milestone day as we are intending to review the final or near-final package of our 5 yr plan for review with visiting Vice Presidents next Thursday. We’ve had significant systems issues as well not getting appropriate (timely and accurate) support from other organizations. Nevertheless, we must move forward.
On a personal note, based on SMSs I have received from Decy, it would appear that the trip to Bandung is going well. Not sure what the plan is for today – but yesterday was the typical Bandung run … for those that have been with us … visit the top of the volcano, visit the steam vents, have lunch at Jasmine restaurant (outdoor gazebo eating), dinner at Kampung Daun.
Well folks, I need to close. Sorry there isn’t much here today … but things are very busy.
Ciao ciao. GBU.
