Pulling a Rabbit out of the Hat
Ahem. Don’t know whether to classify this past weekend as good or not. Saturday was an absolute killer. Got up after another 2.5 hour sleep and headed off to work at 530am. Arrived at 6am. I was dizzy, head spinning, nausiated. I laid down in my office (with the door shut) and didn’t move until 730am. Got up – and started working. Finally stopped around 8/830pm – can’t remember.
When I arrived home, I had the pleasure of seeing little Christian George. He has grown so much. He’s very active. Very alert. Watching all the movements. Responding to sound and laughter. Acting like a perfectly normal baby – albiet still a tad small. He is now 5.5 kilos (12 lbs). Dr’s say that he has to be at least 6 kilos before they will do surgery. Our thinking is that he will have his second surgery near the end of August.
After playing with CG, I had dinner then laid down on the floor. I fell asleep promptly. Poor Decy, it took her three times to wake me up. And, it was just enough to get me to walk to the bed and fall asleep diagonally – on top of the covers, and still with clothes on. Poor girl, she crawled into just a little triangle of a bed …. and went to sleep. Sometime around 2am I woke up …. got undressed …. and crawled into bed. Decy let me sleep late on Sunday morning (until 930am) while she headed off to church and then the salon. At 10am-12noon I had a 2 hr massage then ate lunch. Afterwards, I worked on finances and monitored company-related email for any “crisis”. Overall, I had a relatively relaxing Sunday … but it will take many days to recover from the gruelling week of 6 nights straight of ~2.5 hrs sleep per night.
Today is a key day at the office – we will be finalizing and printing our company plan presentation … for review this week with our guests. Its a key milestone for us. There will be lots of stress today …. and printing and assembling the package (30 copies) will have to be absolutely perfect. I suspect we will work until late into the evening. But, I think I can handle that.
Please keep Decy’s brother Dona in your thoughts and prayers. Surgery on his broken shoulder is today.
Please keep Grandma Suzy in your thoughts and prayers. She’s still working through (and will for some time) a case of the shingles.
Please keep Grandpa Frank (Poncho) in your thoughts and prayers. He’s recovering from shoulder surgery from last week.
Guess I need to close – but before I do …. about the title of this blog … oh yeah. Guess Decy thought I was in a good mood last night – probably better than most nights this week – so she took me out to the maid’s quarters and showed me two little cages. One cage contained two bunnies about 4 months old. The second cage contained about 5 bunnies about 2 months old. I guess that Dino is building hutches and will raise/sell the rabbits. In the meantime, we are “bunny sitting”. And, being as I won’t let Thasya get a puppy dog …. she has named all the bunnies. The bunnies are cute ….
Gotta go. Ciao ciao. GBU.

Are these “pet” bunnies or “eating” bunnies?
