Happy Independence Day Indonesia


Today is Indonesia’s Independence Day – congratulations. Sadly, I will be working most of the day …. and have worked all weekend.

I did manage to take a few hours off and join Decy at a major publicity event for her salon. She had a big tent set up and a competition for kids in “traditional dress”. There were prizes, music, food, everything – incredibly well done. It was well attended and hopefully it will give her the type of publicity and community presence to help drive traffic to her salon.

Sometime today I will be on Indonesia national television in a 15 minute sound bite …. wishing all of Indonesia a safe and happy holiday … as well as successful future. he he he.

Well, this is a short blog. I need to call a taxi and then leave for work (Pak Yono is taking a day off).
