Quake 2.0


Yesterday was a day absolutely full of meetings … one big one beginning at 8am. After ending around 4pm I am working away in my office. Suddenly, things don’t feel quite right – not sure what is going on – very subtle. Then, I notice that my mini-blinds are “creaking”. EARTHQUAKE I think … or maybe I’m just crazy or imaging things. I go into the office next to me …. nothing. Folks come into my office …. nothing. Suddenly, the slightest creak … then it goes away.

Half an hour later … I get a phone call. Sure enough, it was another earthquake. Pretty big too …. around 7.6 … but it was up near Padang on the island of Sumatra. A long ways away by earthquake standards …. but “feelable”.

…. that’a all today …. not much else to write about … Happy 4th quarter !!!!
