The Lonely Blogger
Hmmm …. so in the mornings before work and writing these blogs … I check my emails and blogs of friends. I largely come back empty handed. Most times: nothing at Daniel & Alex, nothing at the Chris Morgan, nothing at Ramona 68, nothing (dead site) at Reckless Mortal … usually empty emailbox (or empty of important family emails). Makes a guy just want to stop blogging and sleep more at night. But, I will continue on …. reminds me of one of Chris’s songs that he gave me called “Lonely T-Shirt” …. ahem.
Ahhh the joys of work. Spent much the weekend “catching up” on work so that I could hit the ground running on Monday morning. Rather than hitting the ground a big pile of stuff hit me as I walked in the door. Have a heap (and you can construe that any way you want to) of work to do BEFORE Monday next week. Its going to be an incredibly tough week coupled with several “off hours” teleconferences and one business dinner …. basically something going on every day or night.
The week already started out challenging with 2 hours sleep on Sunday night, followed by 4 hours sleep on Monday. Thanks God I shave my head; otherwise, I would be pulling it out.
In reality, there isn’t a whole lot to blog about today …
