Old Man Morgan

Yahoo !! Something exciting to write about – MUCH better than blogging about work. After many months of preparation and secrecy (yes Courtney … everybody knew but you) Paul has romantically proposed to Courtney and Courtney has wonderfully accepted. Thus, it is now official … Courtney Strawser and Paul Morgan will be getting married. Now the question is …. when ? For those not in the know (and I won’t go into the same level of details as Courtney) … a scheme was hatched whereby Courtney began a scavenger hunt in Michigan at mid-day Friday last week and ended up in Tennessee that night … then wasled step by step through a thoroughly choreographed weekend that reached its climax on Saturday night whereby, after singing a specially written love song, Paul asked Courtney to marry him …. while sitting on the banks of a river. On Sunday, Courtney returned to Michigan. (Yeah, I know, my version isn’t very romantic … but I don’t have all day to write this blog).

After the above story, everything pales in comparison. Thus, technically I should close this blog. BUT, I will add one little additional bit. Yesterday, Decy has “actioned” her (unromantic) birthday present …. which was my agreement to buy her a blackberry to replace one of her aging and breaking handphones. She selected a Curve, which is probably 20% smaller than my Bold. Its a cute little thing … not sure I could use it with my fat fingers. Anyway, she is in the process of getting the service activated. Overall, I think it is a good upgrade for her … she is on the go so much that often times it is hard for her to sit down and read her email. Thus, the blackberry will reduce response time in many areas.

Need to close this blog as I have spent much of the pre-morning reading the (more detailed) story on Courtney and Paul – congratulations again.
