Old Man Morgan

Ah the challenges continue – I think that Chris and I are competing for “non sleep of the month award”. After working 17 hours on Monday and going to work on Tuesday on 2.5 hrs sleep … I then worked another 15 hours and at 9pm went to the Whitehouse to wish Laverne Carter happy birthday and to go home with Decy. We made it home around 11pm … and off to bed promptly. Then up at my usual 315am. Today, Wednesday will be another long day … start at 6am, lots of meetings, key deadlines for submissions to Houston tonight, and then a telecon from 9pm-11pm. Given the subject matter and the need to be logged in for a net meeting – I will probably take the call from the office. Thus, it will be close to midnight when I get home again. No doubt – Thursday I will be dragging big time.

Decy says that business continues to pick up at the salon and she has had a good Monday and Tuesday. As we move towards payday we are hopeful to see a further pickup in business. She has now expanded into the downstairs of the space they are leasing with the work about 80% complete. To add some privacy to the downstairs, she had made the window applications that you can see out of … but not in. She put these on the double glass doors. On one door is a picture of Chely and Nathasya from the cruise and the caption “Welcome”. On the other door is a picture of Chris and Paul from the cruise with the caption “Selamat Datang”. I need to get a picture from Decy and share that with folks – it looks pretty cool.

Other than the above, not much else going on …. how could there be. Thus, I will close for now (its “already” 439am) and work on some other things.
