Mathematics
If I do my mathematics correctly, then by the time I went home on Friday I had already endured 75 hours of work (M-F). I essentially crashed Friday night. Slept in a bit on Saturday with Decy joining me (yahoo !!), got a 2 hr massage, and then worked until early evening. At 545pm headed off to the Buddha Bar (and restaurant) for a surprise birthday dinner for Samantha. Decy, who was with Samantha and some other ladies at a salon much of the day, joined me before Samantha arrived …. thus making the surprise complete.
A number of us were discussing going to CJ’s Saturday night, but Decy needed to get up at 5am …. so we bowed out (as a note: we haven’t been clubbing since 4th of July. Hmmmm). As it was, due to heavy rain, we didn’t make it home until 1230am. Thus, another short night.
On Sunday, we got up bright and early (but not exactly full of vim and vigor). Decy went to the early service at church (she had some customers that needed make-up early in the morning, so she changed her routine) and I jumped on the treadmill. I’m still trying to build back strength after the holidays, but felt very good about doing 16.1 kms in 100 minutes. After cooling down, showering and eating, I worked some more. Then, I went to Decy’s salon for an afternoon of pampering.
That’s about it. Really nothing exciting to blog about – unless you want to hear about my dentist appointment for later today.
