Absence – But Justified
What a week. And, yes, I have not been very good at blogging this week. But, it is not because I am a slouch. Rather, this week I have spent most of my early mornings either communicating with Chely about spring break plans and other events or have been on the phone talking to my mother, who is in the hospital. Thus, mornings have been chocker block full this week.
Lots going on right now and only have a few minutes to blog.
First, today is a big next step for Decy and her braces. Today she gets the impression for her retainer. If I have the next steps right – all going well, next week her braces will be removed and the button on her dental implant will be installed. Then, the week after, she will have the crown installed on the implant and be given the retainer. The end of the tunnel is in sight. Yahoo !!!
Also, this Sunday Decy is being baptized. We are excited about that and I will join her at church (bahasa Indonesia service) and then to the baptismal service. Afterwards, I will go with her directly to the salon.
Also, this has been another very good week at the salon for Decy … clearly in an upcycle, which hopefully can be maintained. She’s excited. Staff’s excited. Everybody’s excited. God willing the weekend will be a follow-on from the entire week … and will round out a very nice couple of weeks for her.
Gotta go … need to try calling Grandma Suzie again (phone was turned off this morning).
