Brevity
This is a short blog. The work hours are incredible right now – leaving nothing for personal time, much less adequate sleep. Not only am I dozing off at my desk, but standing up isn’t helping very much – yesterday, I dozed off while standing. I’m trying to redeem whatever time I can, which means I am sleeping “late” – until 345am. That really doesn’t allow much / any time for blogging before leaving for work.
Hope to get some sleep and blog some over the weekend.
Chely leaves the US for Indonesia on 3 July. She arrives our Monday morning (Sunday night USA time). We are VERY EXCITED to see her.
If you haven’t seen it already, go to Facebook and read my mom’s post on the dog & turtle. An absolutely amazing story. Talk about biting off more than you can chew !!!!
BTW – Decy surprised me last night and came home early. I think it was around 11pm …. about the time I was getting ready for bed (I came home “early” …. 9pm). Regrettably, I think I fell asleep before she made it to the bed …. but we did get a few hugs in.
